From knowing about the latest apps to the newest text lingo, it can feel overwhelming to keep up with technology that seemingly changes overnight. In this workshop, we’ll unpack the latest research on technology and kids. How do we know what our kids are doing online, how to keep social media and technology under control, how to know when something is wrong, and, most importantly, how we as parents can connect with our kids. Presented by Catherine McLaughlin, MA, NCC, LPC. Ms. McLaughlin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional School Counselor. She offers individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults, and has a special interest in issues of parenting and adolescence, incorporating mindfulness into daily living, and in working with emotions of performers and creatives. Her private practice is within the Resiliency Center, in Flourtown, PA. Complimentary phone consultations are available; please call me at 267-800-5073 to connect.
