Quinci Adams is a Research Associate for the Youth and Family Training Institute. Her role at YFTI involves completing interviews with youth and families as a part of the System of Care Partnership, as well as assisting with a variety of other projects, grants, and research for the Evaluation Team.
Although this is her first position directly related to the field of mental health, Quinci has always been passionate about working with youth and has spent much of her life doing so in various capacities. She is grateful to be in a position where she can combine this with her love of research and ultimately contribute meaningful data that can make a difference for youth and families.
Quinci grew up in Tacoma, Washington. She graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and hopes eventually to go to graduate school for sociology and continue developing a career in research. She currently lives in the City of Pittsburgh.
